Kochadaiyaan, Jilla and Veeram in Pongal race

It has been confirmed that the Rajni starrer Kochadaiyaan, Ajith starrer Veeram and Vijay starrer Jilla will be released for Pongal.

Jilla is a film which has Vijay, Mohanlal and Kajal Aggarwal in the cast. This film which has been directed by Nesan has the music of D Imman.

R B Chowdary is producing this film. It was announced that Jilla will be released for Pongal. Now it has been announced that Kochadaiyaan will be released for Pongal.

In view of the foregoing it is doubtful that whether Veeram and Jilla will be released for Pongal. Even after the announcement of the release of Kochadaiyaan, the production house of Veeram had announced that it will be released for Pongal. The fate of Jilla was not known.

At this point of time, Super Good Films Ramesh had mentioned, “We have decided to release the audio CD and teaser on the 2nd December. The film Jilla will be released on 10th January.”

So it is confirmed that Kochadaiyaan, Veeram and Jilla will be released for Pongal. Rights of Jilla have been sold out. There is tough competition for acquiring the rights of Veeram since Arrambam turned out to be a blockbuster. There will also be a tough competition to acquire the rights of Rajni starrer Kochadaiyaan.
